Fire Suppression

We train like our life depends on it

H. Cuerpo de Bomberos Voluntarios de El Centenario (HCBVEC) Sector 6 provides dedicated, professional fire suppression services for the residents, businesses, and visitors of Sector 6 and surrounding areas—24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our firefighters are trained volunteers who respond rapidly to protect life, property, and the environment when seconds matter.

 Fire Suppression Services

We respond to a wide range of fire-related emergencies, including:

* Structure fires (homes, businesses, and outbuildings)
* Wildland/brush fires and fast-moving vegetation fires
* Vehicle fires** and roadside hazards
* Fire-related rescue operations and life-safety support
* Exposure protection to stop fire spread to neighboring homes and properties

Our fireground operations are organized, disciplined, and safety-focused. We use recognized incident command practices, proven suppression tactics, and ongoing training to ensure that every response is effective and coordinated.

The Only Volunteer Fire Station in The City of La Paz

HCBVEC is proud to be the only Volunteer Fire Station in the City of La Paz. Our station also serves as the fourth fire station supporting the city at no cost, strengthening overall coverage and improving response capacity for a rapidly growing region. We stand ready day and night because our community deserves reliable emergency protection.

Strong Mutual Aid with La Paz Firefighters

Emergency response is strongest when agencies work together. HCBVEC maintains a strong mutual aid relationship with the La Paz firefighters, and we fully support one another to provide the best possible service to the community. When incidents require additional resources, specialized capabilities, or sustained operations, we coordinate seamlessly to strengthen coverage, improve safety, and achieve better outcomes for the public.

Our Fire Engines and Pumping Capability

Fire suppression depends on trained personnel and reliable equipment. HCBVEC currently operates two fire engines:

* 1988 Fire Engine: 1,500 GPM pump, Spartan chassis with a 10-person cab
* 1977 Fire Engine: Luverne with a 750 GPM pump with a 7 -person cab

Together, our apparatus provides a combined pumping capability of 2,225 gallons per minute (GPM)—approximately 8,422.54 liters per minute—supporting sustained fire attack, exposure protection, and water shuttle "Pipe" operations as fire hydrants are unavailable.

Fully Donation-Funded—No Government Financial Support

HCBVEC operates entirely on community donations and receives no direct government financial support for our daily operations. Every response, every training hour, and every piece of safety equipment is made possible by people who believe that Sector 6 deserves dependable emergency services.

Your peso donation directly supports:

* Fuel, maintenance, and repairs that keep engines in service
* Station utilities, communications, and operational readiness

International Donated Equipment From  USA and Canada

* Firefighter protective equipment (PPE), helmets, gloves, boots, and SCBA support items
* Hose, nozzles, adapters, and critical firefighting tools
* Training programs that keep responders prepared and safe

Support Your Firefighters

If you value fast, capable fire protection for Sector 6, please consider making a donation. Your contribution is not just support—it is operational readiness. It helps keep firefighters equipped, apparatus maintained, and our station prepared to respond at any hour.
